A little bit about us…

The Story Mills is a real place in Bozeman, MT. This journey began when one of our founding members was in elementary school. He had a crush on a classmate. He wrote a poem, which later became a melody and then a song. As life progressed, the songs became more personal, encompassed other people’s lives and tales of adventures, mystery, heartache and most importantly, the magic of love.

This is a lifetime of music and experiences we are sharing with you. We spent many years at many of the recording studios in Nashville including Starstruck, County Q, Parks, Dark Horse, Legends, Omni and more. The amazing musicians we worked with captured our imagination, the melodies and emotions of this music. As amazing as the experience in the studio was and as incredible as the songs, turned out, there were a few things missing on some of the songs.

This is where AI has been beneficial. We have enhanced some of the songs we worked for a decade on into the sound we always envisioned. We blended real life with an AI tool. I know, I know. We never thought we would consider using a tool like this. In the end its HUMAN created lyrics, HUMAN voices, and HUMANS using real instruments.

You’ll find the original tracks we completed in the studio along with the enhanced versions. We’d love for you to explore with an open mind and enjoy! We hope you can see our vision, understand our journey and choose to come along. It’s really just beginning and we know…it’s ALWAYS AN ADVENTURE!!
